The Program
The Graduate Program involves full time employment with a learning period of approximately 2 years, during which time you will be exposed to different aspects of accounting and financial services.
Our intention is to develop graduates through a learning pathway designed to help you understand our business and what is expected of you as an accountant in public accounting
The type of work you will be exposed to in your two years includes assisting with various compliance (Tax, BAS, PAYG), auditing of large and small enterprises, cash flows, taxation and GST compliance, financial planning and superannuation.
In conjunction with the Graduate Program, you will be expected to commence your professional membership qualification.

Training, support and development
Development at McConachie Stedman is all about providing opportunity to assist you realise your potential. Development is also about responsibilities, challenges, opportunities, asking questions and learning from practical experiences.
You will be assisted by team members while employed under the Graduate Program. Your development will include a combination of on-the-job experience, mentoring, in-house professional development and external training programs, we well as regular feedback.
When commencing your preferred professional body membership (eg. CPA or CA) qualification, McConachie Stedman will offer you the choice with either professional body. Financial support, study leave and mentoring is provided to all junior accountants.
Remuneration and benefits
Salary will be negotiable with successful candidates. Benefits include paid leave for future CPA or CA program modules, as well as salary packaging options.
Who can apply
To commence on the program, you will need to be near completion of your degree, or recently finished. Final year students are encouraged to discuss their options with our HR Administrator.

Provide a copy of your OP score (Qld) or equivalent
Provide a copy of your University academic transcript at the time of application
