McConachie Stedman has been named as the first Public Practice Accounting firm in Australia to be awarded as a "Recognised Employer Partner" with CPA Australia. Nick Griffin, Regional Manager (Employer North) of CPA Australia said "McConachie Stedman should be extremely proud of this achievement. The panel assessing the application was impressed by the strength of the Training and Development systems in place and acknowledged the commitment of Partners and staff in ensuring standards were always maintained at a high level."
This recognition provided a wide range of benefits specifically for CPA members working at our firm. Employees in the program are provided with "PER" Recognition, a simple alternative method to demonstrate adherence to CPA Australia's three year practical experience requirement (PER). They will not be required to work with a mentor to record the attainment of skills or record CPD hours as the firm has demonstrated a strong adherence to the overall requirements of the program. It is an honour to receive this award as it recognises our strong ongoing commitment to learning and professional development of our accountancy and finance staff.
McConachie Stedman has been practicing in Toowoomba for over 62 years and is continuing to grow not only the business, but acknowledging their staff as their greatest asset and rewarding them with the commitment of superior training and development as recognised by this award.
