This year McConachie Stedman is proud to be celebrating its 75th year in business. From humble beginnings in 1948 to where we are today in 2023, now operating across six locations, serviced by 90 + staff members and an expanded list of services to offer our clients. Our achievements and ongoing success are a result of the dedication of our Directors and leadership team who have devoted themselves to the founding principles set out in 1948.
In 1948, Mr John F McConachie founded McConachie Stedman, a small accounting firm in Toowoomba. He welcomed Mr Bruce Stedman as a partner in 1969 and the two shared a passion to grow the firm. Today, we are proud to be the largest locally owned accounting firm on the Darling Downs.
Our head office is located in the central business district of Toowoomba. In addition, clients can also access services at our Clayfield, Redcliffe, St George, Crows Nest and Roma offices.
Over the years, our service offering has grown, with our clients able to access taxation and accounting, audit, financial planning, self-managed superannuation and business advisory services all under the one roof.
